Creamy Hummus with Fettuccine Take one can of chic peas. Drain but reserve the liquid. Place chick peas in food processor or blender. Add a dash of garlic powder, and squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a few drops of olive oil (optional.) Blend. Add a few tablespoons of the reserved liquid, blend again. Add more or less depending on the consistency preferred.. Spoon into cooked Fettuccine and toss. Or spread on your favorite pita bread with shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Note: This can be prepared with white kidney beans also.
