Potatoes Are Not Fattening-
If fatty dressings such as butter and sour crean are not used and the potatoes are
baked or cooked in the microwave without oil, or in a non-stick pan with just the
lightest coating of oil, potatoes will actually add to weight loss.
Sweet potatoes have all the nutrients we need. Potatoes are a healthy starch.
Who doesn't like mashed potatoes? Use vegetable broth of plant-based milk to make them
creamy.
Have a sweet potato cooked in the microwave with a side of guacamole for a quick
nutitious lunch.
Make a Buddah Bowl using starches like corn, brown rice, white or golden potatoes as well as
sweet potatoes with the addition of steamed or sauteed veggies without using oil.
(Saute with broth.) You can top potatoes with ketchup or BBQ sauce sparingly, or even mustard
or saurerkraut.
